Premier Bank has been made aware that some of our customers are receiving an automated telephone call. The message identifies itself as Premier Bank and advises the customer’s debit card has been locked. It further instructs the customer, if they want their card reinstated, to press “1”.
Please be advised this is fraudulent activity, in an attempt to gain personal information. Several banks in surrounding states have reported this same issue.
If you receive this call, hang up. Premier Bank will never contact a customer in this manner and we ask that you never provide personal information to an unknown caller. If you can identify a telephone number the call is coming from, please contact your nearest Premier Bank office with the information.
